My recent trip to Toronto inspired me greatly in terms of music. Stayed in a house full of gypsy punk, balkan folk, and djembe love. What struck me most, I think, is my friend Adam, who introduced me to a ton of Israeli music, and since then I haven’t been able to stay away from it.
Eviatar Banai released his newest album last year, Laila Kayom Yair. These two songs below are my favorite. So heartfelt. so powerful. Buy his music here!
