atm-bonnaroo stage at night

This is the most overdue post ever. I’ve been meaning to get this whole thing published after one week the festival ended…over two weeks ago jaja. Sigh, so much I wanted to do in between but I kept on saying to myself, NO you need to give PART II. And so here it is. As y’all know, I recently moved and it’s been busy and by busy I mean lounging around in Montréal’s brutal humidity whilst looking for apartments whilsts chilling with awesome flatmates drinking beer whilst have dance parties. So as you can see, very very busy. But here it is! the second half of a most wonderful weekend trip twenty hours south of the MTL.

My recap, MP3s, and live video footage all after the jump!

I’ve been super busy lately. Even though it’s reading week and I do get a whole week off of school doesn’t mean I don’t have work to do! By work, I mean not doing any work and spending all my time being studiously obsessed with old school music. Revisiting some “In the Vault” status LPs. I thought I’d share.

Thanks to Taha–an up and coming photographer of Toronto (duncha know)–for the pic and for being always so enthusiastic about wanting to share with me too =)

MP3: A Tribe Called Quest – Luck of Lucien

MP3: The Avalanches – Since I Left You

I really don’t think I need to do any introduction to one of the greatest hip-hop groups of all time.

One issue I do have is how LOW PE is put on the Coachella poster!!! Third tier?!?!?!?! If anything they should be next to headlining or HEADLINING!!! But I guess the genres of scheduled bands around that time wouldn’t be too fluid.

But let’s not forget Pemberton! When Death Cab’s Ben Gibbard was like, “uh I think this is the only time in my life when I’ll get to say this…JAY-Z everybody!”…or something along those lines. I could totally see Karen O (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) or Kevin Shields (MBV) or EVEN CRAAAAZIER Robert Smith (the Cure) introducing PE! FLAVAAA FLAAAAAAV!

I had a really tough time choosing which songs to post…I really wish I could just post the entire greatest hits compilation which is pretty dece. But, I made tough decisions. Songs after the jump!

I love music and want to share as much of it as I can! My promise with this site is that I will only post things I like. You won't find an MP3 on here that I haven't danced and sung my heart out to or other forms of art that I don't absolutely adore...etc. Hopefully you might grow to feel the same way too!

A caveat: all MP3's and other copyrighted media are used solely for the purpose of promoting and exposing an artist/band/individual.

So please support the artist! Buy their albums/works! Go see their shows!

If you are the artist or representative of said artist and would like the posted item to be removed, please post a comment or email me and I will gladly do so.

Also, if you have promos, remixes, news, etc etc, email me and I'll check it out!

Thanks so much for visiting this blog!
