Merry Christmas everyone! Though I don’t really celebrate this holiday and find it just like any other day…I figure I’d conform to the conventional gift giving and give you fellow readers some presents! In the form of music! Hoooorah! I never share full albums on this site because all the songs I post are samples in hope that you fall in love with the artist and support them by buying their albums and going to their shows and yada yada yada you know the deal! But I thought I’d make an exception on this holiday and share 3 favorite compilations of mine this year. One is a live compilation. One is a DJ compilation. And the other is a highly anticipated album to be released in 2010!

It’s been a long time (long time), I shouldn’t have left you (left you), without a dope beat to step to. Freaky freaky! A’ight folks, these are reviews I’ve been meaning to do for a LONG freakin’ time. I mean it. Some of them I’ve been wanting to get out since March. Damn my laziness! I’ll be doing a super quick opinion piece of bands that are getting lots of attention like Passion Pit, Miike, Snow, Neon Indian, Bell Orchestre, the Prodigy, and a few others. Not that “mainstream” isn’t cool, well to hipsters it’s probably not ’cause it’s SO last year Vampire Weekend HYUK HYUK!, but I wanna cover artists that are less mainstream in the blogosphere like Zee Avi, Ebrahim, Flunk, Trickform, and a few others so that they get a bit more exposure…that’s what we’re all here for, right!?! But let’s hope it’s not too much at once so that we can avoid a Wavves disaster. More after the jump!
Glastonbury is easily one of the largest festivals in the world. With more than just music, Glastonbury is an arts festival, offering up festivals within festivals like Shangri-La, Trash City, and Circus and Theatre areas. But really, the 5+ stages of music with more than 1000+ musicians is really what the festival is all about. For just £185 total, you can get a pass to this four day mayhem (June 24-28) and this INCLUDES the camping pass. What a deal. Just absolutely ridiculous. Too bad it’s all SOLD OUT. This is my dream festival, if only I was heading to the UK 2 months earlier!!! After the jump for the most amazing lineup yet. Don’t shit yourself. =)
